Revitalize with Precision: Electrolyte Water Delivery Service

Electrolyte Product Header 1

We offer electrolyte-infused water delivery services. Electrolytes are essentially salts that can carry an electrical charge. The cells in your body rely on these to control cell membrane stability and drive nerve impulses needed for muscle contractions. Sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, and magnesium are among the most commonly found electrolyte minerals in your body.

Electrolyte water delivery is available to both homes and offices. If you are an athlete, or just an active person, water infused with electrolytes can help prevent dehydration, control fluid balance, and manage various other biological activities. As always though, our product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any diseases.

What Is Electrolyte Water?

Often called mineral water or alkaline water, electrolyte water contains the electrically charged minerals mentioned above in a healthy balance. Sea water contains various salt-based electrolytes but is not recommended for drinking. Tap water contains electrolytes as well. In fact, a liter of tap water contains 2% to 3% of the reference daily intake for calcium, magnesium, and sodium on average, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.1

Only in proper concentrations of the most beneficial electrolytes can electrolyte water improve hydration. Sports drinks have adequate electrolyte concentrations for hydration but the added sugar and calories they contain can offset their benefits.

Benefits of Electrolyte Water

Bottled water with electrolytes, or any recommended source of electrolyte water, can have numerous benefits. The human body is up to 60% water, and water is needed to support all biological functions. Electrolyte water can help:

  • Correct Electrolyte Imbalances: Often a result of dehydration, an electrolyte imbalance can cause fatigue, fast/irregular heartbeat, and confusion. Numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, cramps, headaches, and convulsions are also possible. However, electrolyte water can help you stay hydrated.
  • Improve Athletic Performance: Whether you’re a competitive athlete or just getting daily exercise, electrolyte-infused water can replace water you lose in sweat, which can account for 1% to 2% of your body weight.
  • Support Your Nervous System: Sodium helps trigger electrical impulses that nerve cells communicate with; potassium neutralizes nerve cells. Magnesium helps electrical impulses transmit effectively. If you’re just 3% dehydrated, reaction time is similar to having a blood alcohol content of .08%.2
  • Assist With Recovery and/or Prevention From Illness: Electrolytes can replace fluids and nutrients lost due to vomiting and diarrhea in non-serious cases. They can help prevent heat stroke as well. In hot conditions, the body’s cooling system can break down. Fluids and electrolytes can help you stay cool on hot days.

Electrolyte Water vs. Alkaline Water

Although the terms electrolyte water and alkaline water are often used interchangeably, there are a number of differences between them, including how they are treated and where they are sourced.

pH Levels

The potential hydrogen, or pH, of alkaline and electrolyte water is one major difference. pH refers to the amount of hydrogen ions in water. pH levels between 0 and 6.9 are acidic, and pH levels of 7 or above are considered to be basic. The total dissolved solids that are found in alkaline water cause its pH to be between 8 and 9.

Types of Minerals

Electrolyte water contains added minerals, including calcium, potassium and magnesium. These minerals help to regulate the body’s fluid balance through the replacement of the electrolytes the body loses via sweating.

Alkaline water contains substances, which together, lower its acidity. These substances include silica, bicarbonate and magnesium.

Sources

Electrolyte water is infused with rehydrating minerals after it’s been collected. The minerals in alkaline water are already present at the time of collection from a spring, but they can also be added during electrolysis.

Electrolysis raises water pH via the use of an ionizer, which separates acidic water molecules from alkaline molecules. This causes the acidic molecules to be removed, which raises the pH value of the water.

Effects on the Body

Electrolyte water may help your body maintain a neutral pH balance, which keeps your organs and systems functioning at optimal levels. This is part of the reason why electrolyte water is used by athletes—because it may help them to maintain their high levels of performance.

Many choose alkaline water because it may help reduce acidity in the body and offers improved hydration and better mineral absorption.

Those with digestive issues like acid reflux have reported relief from their symptoms after drinking alkaline water. This is due to its ability to rebalance gastrointestinal pH. As well, some who drank alkaline water have reported that they experienced a better night’s sleep.

There are many benefits of both electrolyte and alkaline water, but it is important to assess your current hydration and pH levels to ensure you get optimal amounts.

Reasons for Intake

Electrolyte water is typically consumed whenever the body needs hydration or to prevent dehydration. Alkaline water is typically consumed in order to help address excess acidity, such as acid reflux, or to help improve sleep or energy levels.
